Short Acres

In 1937, what is now Short Acres Estate was preserved as a “14-acre” property in Orinda for over sixty years. The new owners purchased the property in 2001 only to discover there were 12 acres, not 14, and playfully called it Short Acres. Willing to dream big, they planted a small Syrah vineyard giving rise to this vibrant wine. With 100% estate fruit, this wine is elegant, well structured, and will age gracefully for 10 to 15 years. Time will tell, but the long and short of it is…whatever will be will be – and sometimes, it’s truly exceptional.
